Job Description

Job Summary Small law firm is seeking an organized Office Manager and Receptionist. Secretarial and computer skills are a plus. This multifaceted role offers an opportunity to oversee daily office operations, provide exceptional client and visitor service, and support legal administrative functions. Your energy and attention to detail will ensure the smooth functioning of our office while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and directing calls with professional phone etiquette. Handle all administrative tasks such as filing, document preparation, and maintaining confidential information with discretion. Support legal secretarial duties by organizing case files, drafting correspondence, and managing legal document workflows. Coordinate vendor management activities including service providers for office supplies, equipment maintenance, and other operational needs. Utilize accounting software like Advantage and QuickBooks to perform bookkeeping tasks including invoicing, expense tracking, payroll processing, and budgeting support. Manage office supplies inventory and oversee office management processes to ensure a productive work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in office management or administrative roles. Strong clerical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with accounting software such as Advantage, QuickBooks, or similar financial management tools. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with a professional demeanor suitable for client interaction. Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Knowledge of legal procedures is desirable. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining high standards of discretion. Technical proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems.
Pay:
$21.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 - 24.0 per week
