Office Administrator West Haven, CT Are you ready to join a dynamic team in a manufacturing/office environment? Our client is seeking dedicated 1st shift experienced Office Admin to become an integral part of their team. Responsibilities of the Office Administrator Create requisitions and POs to order office, maintenance, and production supplies Maintain all receipts and inventory for all PO#s and Requisitions Maintain inventory for Rolls Stock, finished goods and work in progress(WIP) Maintain DATA integrity for our production management system (IQMS) Provide daily administrative support which includes receiving, sorting, and delivering all incoming correspondence (mail, FedEx, fax), answering incoming phone calls, greeting guests, assisting co-workers with requests for information, ordering office supplies, maintaining an organized filing system in soft or hard format as necessary, and/or preparing and distributing departmental reports Answer and route incoming telephone calls, screen caller regarding the purpose of the call, and transfer to the appropriate staff member or department. Page the employee if necessary. Manage the reception area to greet, route, and host visitors. Answer questions about the company and provide visitors and callers with requested information. Print and provide badges for visitors. Check company voicemail and respond to any messages. Forward messages to appropriate employee. Provide general administrative support, organize office communications and activities on a day-to-day basis and order office supplies. Address the maintenance of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, etc. Know and follow policies and procedures of the company, share information that would benefit other members of the team, and find ways to improve the delivery of service to customers.. Requirements of the Office Admin Education equivalent to a high school diploma required. Some college or administrative training preferred. Two to three years of previous office administration experience in a warehouse environment. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Must have ERP experience Able to work independently and capable of running the office on own Strong attention to meeting and exceeding expectations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests. Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple projects and/or requests concurrently. Strong attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals throughout the company on departmental procedures, policies, and requests for information • Able to work flexible hours or overtime as needed.
