•$22 About the Position We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and professional Office Manager / Business Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative, financial, and operational functions of our travel business.



This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working independently, managing multiple priorities, providing excellent customer service, and keeping an office running efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, basic accounting knowledge, and an ability to work effectively with employees, independent contractors, clients, and business partners.



Experience in the travel industry is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Administration Manage payroll and accounts payable/receivable. Process and manage commission payments. Reconcile accounts at month-end and year-end. Maintain accurate statistical and financial records. Prepare financial documents and supporting materials for quarterly and annual tax reviews. Monitor sales and profitability goals. Use QuickBooks and Excel to maintain and analyze financial information. Office & Staff Management Oversee the daily operations of the office and ensure administrative functions are handled efficiently. Provide basic human resources support for office employees and independent contractors. Develop, maintain, and manage W-2 employee and 1099 contractor agreements and documentation. Help keep employees and contractors organized, productive, accountable, and engaged. Maintain office equipment and coordinate repairs or service as needed. Monitor office supply inventory and place orders as necessary. Maintain organized client and business records. Travel Operations & Customer Service Enter and maintain accurate client information and records in company software. Assist clients in planning and purchasing travel services based on their needs, preferences, budget, and schedule. Plan and sell transportation, accommodations, travel insurance, tours, and other travel-related services. Research and recommend appropriate destinations, transportation options, travel dates, accommodations, and costs. Make transportation and hotel reservations and process client payments and fees. Handle travel-related issues, changes, complaints, and refund requests professionally and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning and travel process. Sales & Marketing Support sales initiatives and work toward established sales and profitability targets. Develop and use promotional techniques to market itinerary-based tour packages. Prepare promotional materials and assist with travel-related marketing initiatives. Stay informed about current tourism trends, destinations, travel products, and industry developments. Attend travel seminars, training programs, and industry events as appropriate. Qualifications & Skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge. Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel . Strong computer and data-entry skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial, employee, and client information. Professional, dependable, positive, and solution-oriented attitude. Ability to work effectively with employees, independent contractors, vendors, and clients. Previous office management, accounting, administrative, or travel-industry experience preferred. Travel industry experience is a plus.
