Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee our office operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, with experience in accounting software and a solid understanding of financial concepts. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to maintaining an efficient office environment. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing systems. Oversee financial processes such as accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation. Maintain accurate records in financial software, ensuring compliance with governmental accounting standards. Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including general ledger reconciliation and tax documentation. Collaborate with team members to streamline office procedures and improve overall efficiency. Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts. Provide support for audits and ensure timely completion of all financial reporting requirements. Train and supervise administrative staff while fostering a positive work environment. Requirements Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role. Proficiency in Xero or other financial software is highly desirable. Strong understanding of financial concepts, including tax regulations and governmental accounting practices. Experience with bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, and accounts payable processes. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
