Job Description

About us Island Topsoil is a small family-owned company in Waianae, HI. We are fast-paced, customer-centric and collaborative. Our work environment includes a casual atmosphere and company perks. Applicants not already located in the Waianae area or not willing to relocate/commute to Waianae need not apply. This position provides project administrative support to the office team.
Administrative Assistant Primary Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations Maintains physical and digital filing systems Answers phone calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel Schedules appointments and signs for incoming packages Assists clients and other visitors Responds to emails and other digital queries and correspondence Drafts and edits letters, reports, and other documents Inputs and updates information in databases and spreadsheets Prepares meeting agendas and takes meeting minutes Operates and maintains office equipment, including printers and copiers Works with maintenance and outside vendors to ensure office equipment is in good working order and supply inventories are maintained Works closely with other administrative staff supports other colleagues as needed Works well with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with privacy policies and regulations Ensures deadlines are met and adapts to changing priorities
