Office Administrator Morris Moose lodge 967 Morris, IL Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Customer communication Microsoft Outlook Administrative experience Clerical experience Office management Time management Full Job Description Job Summary The Moose Lodge Administrator is responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the Lodge. This position requires strong organizational, communication, financial, and administrative skills, along with the ability to work effectively with Lodge officers, employees, members, vendors, Moose International, and the community. Duties Oversee and coordinate daily Lodge operations, including supplies, equipment, facilities, and Lodge personnel. This may include bar, kitchen, cleaning, and maintenance staff, as well as coordination with the Social Quarters as appropriate. Handle telephone and in-person communications professionally and courteously, providing excellent customer service to members, guests, vendors, distributors, and community contacts. Manage official correspondence with Moose International and respond promptly and professionally to member and community inquiries. Maintain accurate Lodge records through data entry, spreadsheets, word-processing programs, and other administrative systems. Assist with the coordination of Lodge events and activities, including responding to inquiries, providing information, and directing calls or requests to the appropriate individuals. Help ensure Lodge operations comply with applicable local health department requirements, state liquor laws and regulations, and charitable gaming requirements. Perform bookkeeping and financial administrative duties using QuickBooks, including invoicing, expense tracking, bill payments, bank reconciliations, payroll, and maintaining accurate financial records. Prepare and assist with required financial and regulatory filings, including applicable sales tax and charitable gaming reports. Perform general clerical and administrative duties, including filing, proofreading, preparing reports, maintaining documents, and organizing office records. Maintain organized and accurate records while protecting confidential Lodge, employee, member, and financial information. Work cooperatively with Lodge officers and other designated individuals to support Lodge operations, programs, events, and administrative needs. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in office administration, office management, bookkeeping, or a similar administrative role preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping/accounting software preferred. Strong computer skills, including data entry, electronic file management, spreadsheets, email, and basic troubleshooting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, particularly when maintaining financial records, preparing reports, proofreading documents, and completing regulatory filings. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with Lodge officers, employees, members, vendors, Moose International, and the general public. Ability to work independently, use good judgment, maintain confidentiality, and follow established Lodge policies and procedures.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
