Job Summary Bill Doran Company is a third generation-owned, thriving wholesale florist with 38 locations across the US! We invest in our customers' success by providing exemplary service & knowledge of the floral industry. Our Rockford, IL location is seeking an amazing individual that is customer focused and is adaptable to changing business needs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an administrative role is preferred. Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word) and Outlook. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work. Present self with a well-groomed, clean, and neat appearance. Dedicated and dependable individual with the ability to build strong relationships with customers by providing exemplary customer service. Positive attitude, dependable, & responsible. Ability to work both independently and as a valued team member, meeting all deadlines. Clear and effective communicator (verbally and in writing). Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills. Experience in purchasing, inventory management, and creating clean and attractive customer-focused displays. Ability to sit, stand, walk during scheduled shifts. Ability to lift to 30 lbs.Duties:
The following outlines essential duties and requirements this position will require. This list is not exhaustive, and other duties may be assigned to meet business needs as requested. This individual must be flexible and willing to assist where needed as requested by leadership. Provide exemplary customer service in all interactions with customers including greeting, answering inquiries, answering or transferring phone calls, taking messages, informing customers of sales, or any other customer interactions. Maintain an organized, clean, and tidy work area. Collecting payments, billing, and general daily bookkeeping activities. Organize and prepare daily delivery route sheets for delivery drivers. Prepare electronic deposits, apply customer payments and enter cash receipts. Maintain office supply inventory. Approve daily timeclock reports. Other duties as needed to support overall branch operations. Some light cleaning including front counter, breakroom and/or trash removal. Hours- Mon to Friday, 7:00 am to 12:00 pm Departure time may vary slightly based on level of business; will be discussed in interview. No phone calls or walk-ins, please. Some benefits may require a waiting period.Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per weekBenefits:
