Jay Building Group

Bilingual Project Manager Residential Roofing (Office Based)

Job Description

We're a roofing and exterior contractor and we need someone who runs jobs from the desk without being chased for updates. This is the inside seat. We already have someone in the field. Your job is everything that has to be right before a crew rolls, and everything that has to be tracked after they do. What you'll own: The sales handoff. Get what was sold, what was promised, and what the rep saw on the roof into the work order before anything gets scheduled. Materials. Order from suppliers, confirm quantities and colors against the scope, and time delivery to the install date. Scheduling. Build and run the crew schedule. When weather or a supplier moves a date, re-sequence the week and tell everyone affected before they find out the hard way. Permits and paperwork. Pull permits, keep job files clean, stay ahead of anything that stops a start date. Homeowners. Confirm dates, set expectations, deliver the bad news when a date moves. They should hear it from you first. CRM. Keep job status, notes and photos current so nobody has to call you to find out where something stands. Punch lists and closeout. Track open items to done. A job isn't finished until it's closed out.
What we need from you:
Experience coordinating or managing residential roofing or exterior jobs — production coordinator, project manager, project admin, or office manager at a contractor Experience ordering materials from suppliers and scheduling install crews Organized enough to run 20+ active jobs at once without a manager reminding you Comfortable on the phone with homeowners, including when the conversation isn't a good one Reliable in-office attendance. This role can't be done remotely.
Nice to have:
JobNimbus, AccuLynx, or a similar contractor CRM Bilingual English/Spanish Enough roofing knowledge to catch a scope or material error on paper This probably isn't for you if: Your job files live "in your head" You wait to be told what to work on next You'd rather avoid a hard call than make it You've never worked around construction schedules What we offer: $60,000/year, salaried Consistent Monday-Friday schedule Direct access to ownership. Small team, decisions happen fast. A real path to running production as we grow. We'd rather promote someone who already knows our jobs than hire a stranger into it.
