Job Description
Overview We are an Optometry medical private practice and are looking for an assistant manager to handle the front desk operations primarily for our locations in Chestnut Hill, MA and/or Cambridge, MA.
PARKIING
is provided. Our locations are in Chestnut Hill, Medford, Burlington, Cambridge, Wellesley MA. We are a full-scope eye care and optometry center offering eye exams and treatments, contacts, and high-end prescription eyewear. Our trusted doctors and knowledgeable teams are all focused on helping our patients have their best vision by delivering an exceptional, personalized experience.Qualifications to be considered:
- Proven track record with progressive responsibilities in a private healthcare office setting as an office manager capacity: optometry, ophthalmology, dental offices, private medical practices, dentistry industry, dermatology, plastic surgery. You must be from a high end medical office.
- Willing to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to effectively help managing the office, doctors, staff and schedule.
- Experience in managing and developing less experienced teammates as a medical office manager or related fields.
- Must have a strong retention record at previous jobs of 2+ years as an office manager or assistant, operations manager, ophthalmic manager, assistant manager, practice manager.
- Superior customer service.
- Takes initiative to improve things in a constructive and practical fashion.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff at all levels.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- strong work ethics, committed, timely, respectful to teammates. Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist Managing the flow of patients at the location
- Assist in managing patients bookings and schedule coordination
- understand and able to sell contacts
- Handle and resolve patients issues and concerns
- contact lens management
- Understanding of insurances
- Taking initiatives to meet the office financial goals

Pay:
