Job Description

Our client is currently seeking or in need of an Office Administrator for their Worcester, Massachusetts location. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping operations organized, supporting both internal teams and external customers, and helping an office run efficiently from day to day. The right candidate will be comfortable managing administrative tasks, handling communication with professionalism, and assisting with purchasing and financial support functions. This is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced office environment.
The Day-to-Day:
Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, copying, scanning, and maintaining organized records Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a professional manner Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and other business documents Serve as the first point of contact for customers, clients, and visitors in person, by phone, and through email Maintain accurate customer records and update databases with relevant information Process purchase orders and coordinate with vendors and suppliers Obtain quotes, compare pricing, and assist with selecting cost-effective vendor options Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and follow-up
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Associate's degree preferred 1-3 years of experience in an office, customer service, or purchasing role Experience with purchasing or inventory management software preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential and financial information responsibly Ability to occasionally lift office supplies or packages weighing up to 20 pounds
Pay Rate:
$24.00 to $29.00 per hour
Schedule:
