Role Overview The Parish Administrator is a part-time position at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, located at 25 Church Street in Prince Frederick, Maryland. The Parish Administrator reports directly to the Rector of St. Paul's and works in a support role to the Wardens and Officers of the Vestry (Board). The Parish Administrator aids in the stewardship of the various gifts God has entrusted to St. Paul's. These resources include volunteers, members, financial resources, and personnel, administrative and physical resources of the Church. The Parish Administrator's life and vocation should embody Christian faith, principles and values. Key Responsibilities
Office Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the church office, answering emails, phone calls, and greeting visitors.
Communications:
Prepare the weekly Sunday bulletin, maintain the church calendar, and manage content for the church email newsletter.
Assist the finance team with tasks such as recording offerings, and maintaining vendor records. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in office administration, nonprofit management, or a similar field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or Google Workspace. Comfort learning new technology, such as Church Management Software (e.g. Servant Keeper). Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
