As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Office Manager / Operations Manager to help improve productivity, strengthen accountability, organize internal processes, and support our office and warehouse teams. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and improving how a business operates. Position Summary The primary focus of this position is to help our team work more efficiently and effectively. You will support department leaders by helping manage employees, improve workflows, organize processes, and ensure work is moving through the company smoothly. While many of our team leaders are experts in their jobs, they often need support managing people, coordinating activities, and improving efficiency. You will also work directly with the company President on special projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives that help the business grow. This role requires someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable stepping into different responsibilities as needed. ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Employee Support Help department leaders manage employee performance and accountability. Ensure employees remain productive and focused throughout the day. Support employee coaching, training, and development. Help improve communication between departments. Promote a positive and professional work environment. Support HR with employee-related matters and documentation. Process & Workflow Improvement Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Improve workflow between departments. Help organize job responsibilities and internal processes. Reduce errors and improve consistency throughout the organization. Assist management in implementing operational improvements. Operations Support Fill in for office personnel during vacations or absences. Help coordinate office activities and daily operations. Create productive projects for employees during slower periods. Support customer service, purchasing, accounting, and warehouse teams as needed. Assist customers, vendors, and visitors to ensure a positive experience. Executive Support Work directly with the President on special projects and company initiatives. Help track and implement process improvement projects. Assist with operational planning and organizational improvements. Take ownership of miscellaneous projects that improve company performance. QualificationsRequired 3+ years of management, office management, operations, or supervisory experience. Strong leadership and people-management skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Preferred Experience in manufacturing, industrial distribution, logistics, or operations. Experience creating SOPs and improving workflows. Experience managing teams and driving process improvements.
