We are looking for a Self-driven talented Accountant / Office Administrator who has a proven track record and can meet the following: Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor receipt of all income and financial commitments
- Manage company cash flow
- Significant experience in a construction related field with extensive job costing background is preferred.
- Maintain detailed financial reports and coordinate timely updates with leadership
- Prepare analysis and reconciliation of monthly financial activity for all levels of the company and provide feedback for areas of improvement
- Report, Monitor and present key financial and non-financial performance indicators
- Cost management, including monitoring of project profitability
- Lead all quarterly financial reviews and annual audit activities
- Year end audit and reconciliation to prepare for financials for tax return
- Ensure legal accounting practices are followed and respond to changes (GAAP, SOX)
- Manage company bonds, certifications, insurance, vehicle tabs/registration Skills and experience
- Data entry for client/project information as needed
- Answering Phone Calls and directing as needed
- 5+ Years of accounting experience (Preferably in a managerial role)
- 4yr Accounting/financial degree preferred
- MS Office skills required (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Quick books skills Required
- Smart Sheets experience preferred
- Notary publics preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to multitask
- Must display ability to self-manage workloads and initiate tasks independently
- Must be able to type 40+ wpm
