Job Description

We are a home care agency seeking a dependable and self-directed Office Administrator to step into a key leadership role within our operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and can keep things running smoothly without constant supervision. While this is not a high-volume or fast-paced position, it carries significant responsibility. You will serve as the operational backbone of our agency — ensuring day-to-day functions are managed efficiently, staff and clients are supported, and all administrative processes stay on track. The ideal candidate brings experience in home care, healthcare administration, or a related field and is ready to hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily office operations and administrative workflows Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and caregiver assignments Serve as the primary point of contact for staff, clients, and families during office hours Maintain accurate records including client files, employee documentation, and compliance paperwork Monitor and ensure adherence to agency policies, procedures, and state regulations Handle intake inquiries and assist with onboarding of new clients and caregivers Manage communications including phone, email, and any agency platforms or software Be available for on-call support on Mondays and Fridays for urgent needs or scheduling issues Report operational updates and flag any concerns to agency leadership What We're Looking For Prior experience in home care, healthcare administration, or a similar office role Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage priorities without close oversight Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable with scheduling software, Microsoft Office, or similar tools Professional, calm, and solutions-oriented approach to challenges Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy — this role requires integrity and discretion
Schedule & Structure In-Office:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Remote /
On-Call:
Monday and Friday — available for communications and urgent matters Flexible and manageable workload — not high-stress, but requires consistency and follow-through Opportunity to grow into a long-term leadership role within the agency
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
