Job Description

Position Overview The Bookkeeper & Office Manager is responsible for maintaining the firm's financial integrity and ensuring smooth daily office operations. This role combines accounting discipline with operational leadership. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-driven, and comfortable managing financial systems while keeping the office running efficiently. Accuracy, confidentiality, and accountability are essential. Core Responsibilities Financial Management Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using accounting software Reconcile bank, credit card, and trust accounts Manage accounts payable and receivable Process payroll and contractor payments Prepare monthly financial reports Maintain organized financial documentation Coordinate with CPA for tax and year-end reporting Monitor expenses and flag discrepancies immediately Office Operations Oversee day-to-day office administration Maintain vendor relationships and office supplies Support scheduling and internal workflow coordination Ensure organized digital and physical record systems Assist with onboarding administrative processes Maintain confidentiality of financial and client information Qualifications Prior bookkeeping experience required QuickBooks or equivalent accounting software proficiency Strong organizational and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Professional communication skills Experience in a professional or legal office preferred Work Style & Expectations Self-directed and reliable Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information Proactive problem-solver Consistent and dependable performance Compensation Hourly rate of pay depends on experience and qualifications. Pay:
$17.50 - $28.00 per hour
