Job Description
We're hiring someone to run the office for a small restoration and construction company in Freehold—the person who keeps invoices moving, files in order, and the team supported while our crews handle water, mold, fire, sewage, emergency cleanup, and rebuild work. What you'll actually do Handle day-to-day admin: answer phones, manage email, and keep the office organized File, scan, and maintain job folders, insurance paperwork, vendor records, and company documents Prepare invoices, follow up on accounts receivable, and help money come in on time Work in QuickBooks on invoicing and expenses Learn and use multiple industry-specific software programs (training provided) Support operations and team coordinators with scheduling, job paperwork, and insurance/vendor follow-up Back up the owner with correspondence, reports, and the administrative details that keep the company moving Keep records clean and current so nothing falls through the cracks This isn't a sit-quietly-and-file role. You'll be in the mix with a company that moves quickly and takes pride in how we treat customers and each other. Who we're looking for Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Comfortable with general office work, invoicing, collections, and follow-up Experience with QuickBooks (or willing to get sharp on it quickly) and everyday office software Willing to learn new systems—we'll train you on the industry-specific programs we use Clear communicator who can talk to customers, adjusters, vendors, and the crew Someone who can juggle a few things at once and still close the loop Prior restoration, construction, or insurance-office experience is a plus—not required You must be able to reliably commute to our Freehold office. This is an on-site role. If getting here consistently is a stretch, this isn't the right fit. If you like being the person who keeps a busy service company from spinning, we'd like to hear from you. Apply through Indeed and tell us a little about your billing and office experience.
