Job Description

Rider University invites applications for the Office Operations Manager for the Westminster College of Media and Performing Arts (WCMPA). Reporting to the WCMPA Dean, this position is responsible for managing budget tracking, assisting with faculty and staff contracts, and ensuring smooth office operations. This position plays a critical role in supporting the Dean's Office by managing administrative operations, overseeing financial processes, and assisting with various student information related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain budget spreadsheets for various departments and assist with the monthly management of TD Bank accounts. Track and manage purchase orders (POs), check requests, and process invoices. Coordinate advertising and conference attendance including creating creative services requests and managing contracts and payment to vendors. Assist with annual catalog review and updates. Assist with website updates for college/school/department pages. Oversee student awards management, including Dean's List letters, the Andrew J. Rider Scholars Project, and the distribution and funding of student awards across all departments. Two or four-year degree. 3-5 years of demonstrated experience maintaining confidential matters. Demonstrated professionalism at all levels. Demonstrated excellent communication and organizational skills/experience. Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Adobe, and Google Drive. Must be able to work independently and proactively and be able to prioritize. Demonstrated ability to set the professional tone and atmosphere for the office. Ability to multi-task. Strong time management skills. Ability to handle challenging situations. Demonstrated experience/skill managing administrative staff. Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required 4-year degree. 2 years administrative staff management. Ability to use Banner and Canvas. Experience with spreadsheets. Familiarity with higher education environment.
