Central New Jersey Area Position Overview Children's Summer Camp is seeking an Office Manager to serve as the heartbeat of our camp office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves working with families, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. The Office Manager oversees the daily operations of the camp office and serves as a primary point of contact for parents and visitors. This individual must be highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and professional demeanor. Responsibilities Answer phones, emails, and text messages promptly and professionally. Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective camp families. Manage camper enrollment records and maintain accurate information in our camp management software. Coordinate daily attendance, transportation changes, and parent communications. Support the camp directors with administrative projects and daily operations. Assist families with registration, forms, payments, and general camp questions. Maintain confidential camper and staff records. Coordinate office supplies and ensure the office operates efficiently. Work closely with the Nursing Team, Division Leaders, Transportation Department, and Leadership Team to ensure seamless communication. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other administrative materials. Welcome visitors to the office and create a positive first impression for every family. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Outstanding organizational and time management abilities. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace. Experience with customer service, office administration, or administrative support. Positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping families. We're looking for someone who: Loves building relationships with families and helping parents. Takes ownership and solves administrative problems independently. Has a "no task is too small" mentality to keep the office running smoothly. Enjoys being part of a collaborative leadership team. Brings energy, positivity, and professionalism to the office every day. Understands that excellent communication is one of the most important parts of delivering an exceptional camp experience.
Pay:
$50,000.00 per year
