Sales Support Associate / Office Administrator Direct Hire | Full-Time |
Onsite Location:
Swedesboro, NJ Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00
PM Compensation:
$25-$30/hour, based on experience Position Overview A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Support Associate / Office Administrator to support day-to-day office operations, customer service, data entry, and basic accounting functions. This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with customers, and able to learn a technical product line. The position will work closely with the General Manager and serve as a key resource for the office team. This is a growth-oriented opportunity with the potential to take on additional responsibility over time. Responsibilities Enter and maintain accurate information related to customer orders, inventory, and customer records . Provide responsive customer support by answering questions, assisting with order updates, and helping resolve customer concerns. Answer incoming calls and communicate professionally with customers and internal team members. Support accounts receivable and accounts payable activities, including invoicing, payment application, reconciliation, and general accounting support. Maintain accurate records and ensure data is entered correctly and on time. Assist with general administrative duties, document management, and office support. Support the General Manager with special projects and ad hoc assignments . Learn the company's technical product line in order to better assist customers and internal teams. Work within company systems and assist with the transition to a new ERP platform. Qualifications High school diploma required; associate or college degree is a plus. Prior professional experience in office administration, customer service, data entry, AR/AP, bookkeeping, order entry, or a similar role . Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and assisting with questions or problems. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems. Comfortable learning new software and ERP systems. Ability and willingness to learn a technical product line. Able to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment , particularly during higher-volume periods. Comfortable working onsite within an office located alongside a clean, quiet manufacturing facility. Ideal Candidate The strongest candidate will be organized, energetic, detail-oriented, and dependable with a strong customer-service mindset. They should be comfortable balancing data entry, customer communication, administrative duties, and changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
