POSITION SUMMARY
Krowne is seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Desk & Office Administrator to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and employees while keeping day-to-day office operations running efficiently. This role blends traditional front desk/reception duties with broader office administration responsibilities, including mail and supply management, support for customer events, and general support across departments. The ideal candidate is a proactive multitasker who enjoys variety, takes ownership of tasks, and represents Krowne professionally in every interaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Front Desk & Reception Greet and welcome visitors, vendors, and job candidates in a warm, professional manner Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls; take and relay messages as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front lobby/reception area Manage visitor sign-in/security procedures and badge issuance, if applicable Coordinate conference room scheduling and set-up for meetings and visitors Office Administration Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages; prepare outgoing mail and shipments (USPS, UPS, FedEx, freight carriers) Monitor and maintain inventory of office and breakroom supplies; place and track orders within budget Maintain relationships with office vendors and service providers Keep office equipment (printers, copiers, postage machine) stocked, functional, and coordinate service calls as needed Support facilities-related needs such as coordinating repairs, deliveries, and building access Assist with maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and administrative documentation Support basic data entry and administrative processing tasks as assigned Customer & Company Events Assist in planning and coordinating customer visits, tours, trade shows, and company events Help arrange catering, materials, signage, and logistics for meetings and events Provide day-of support to ensure events and customer visits run smoothly Assist with hospitality for visiting customers, vendors, and partners (refreshments, directions, accommodations coordination) Cross-Department Support Provide administrative support to Sales, Marketing, HR, and other departments as needed Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and special projects across teams Help onboard new employees with administrative tasks (badges, welcome materials, workspace set-up) Take on additional duties and ad hoc projects as business needs arise
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred 1+ years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, office administration, or customer service role Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, friendly demeanor Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities at once Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and general office equipment Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing/office environment A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed

From $22.00 per hour
