Job Description

Summary:
Responsible for assisting with the day to day operation and direct supervision of assigned activities within the Front Desk department. Oversee overall department and/or shift(s) as assigned. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or employee challenges.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Assist with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned Provide check-in, check-out, and reservation service to all guests and callers. Answer all telephones at Front Desk and route calls and/or provide assistance and information to all callers. Promote the hotel/casino and all of its services and facilities while maximizing occupancy and ADR. Process daily reports, reconciliations, journals, etc. Check Bus Groups in and make keys as needed Assist in the preparation of commissions for OTA and Travel Agents. Handle guest complaints Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members Performs other duties as assigned
