About AVR Optics AVR Optics, founded in 2016, is a leading distributor of photonics products for life sciences, microscopy, and quantum applications. Job Description Reporting to the Office Manager, the successful candidate will provide administrative and logistical support to our growing team. You will assist in the processing and fulfilment of customer orders; as well as providing office support for the field-based sales team as needed. The main duties of this role include: Goods receiving & dispatching: receiving goods from suppliers, processing and dispatching to customers. Assist the
Office Manager:
processing orders, send follow-up emails to customers and assist sales team as needed. Additional administrative tasks as and when required such as proper filing and organization of essential documents. Your Qualifications Associates degree or equivalent preferred. We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
  • The highest levels of honesty, integrity and ethical behavior.
  • Accuracy and and
  • Ability to work as part of a close-knit team.
  • Ability to self-organize and prioritize tasks, particularly during very busy periods.
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience of using an ERP system in a commercial office environment
  • Preferably experienced in customer service.

Part Time Hours:
flexible 4 to 5 hours between 9:00am - 3:00pm Mon-Fri; 20-25hrs a week.

$22.00 per hour
