Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to oversee daily operations within a healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of medical office management, and proficiency with healthcare management systems. This role involves supervising staff, managing financial and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining excellent patient and customer service standards. The Office Manager will serve as a vital link between clinical teams and administrative functions to ensure smooth practice operations and optimal patient care delivery. Responsibilities Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, billing, and revenue cycle processes Ensure compliance with
CMS/OHCA
standards, health regulation policies, and other relevant healthcare regulations Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and other patient management software to maintain accurate medical records and streamline workflows Oversee medical billing processes and ensure accuracy in coding, documentation and census Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development Ensuring payroll is complete and accurate Maintain high standards of customer service for patients and clients Implement policies for healthcare practice management and ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards Facilitate communication between clinical teams, administrative staff, vendors, and external agencies Experience Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management with a strong background in managing multidisciplinary teams Prior experience with medical billing, coding (including ICD-10), and revenue cycle management Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Point Click Care, paycom; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential Knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance, OHCA and CMS accreditation standards Experience supervising healthcare staff in nursing home facilities; skilled and long term care experience is advantageous Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance requirements Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality patient care standards Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience in Resident Trust Funds This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated healthcare team within a dynamic practice environment. Pay:
$19.50 - $29.83 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
