September 8, 2026 Office Manager Alma, AR $18 - $20 / per hour Apply Now Back Job Description This is a hands-on role with a broad range of responsibilities, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, purchasing, basic HR administration, customer service, and general office management. The Office Manager will play an important role in keeping the business organized, ensuring administrative processes run smoothly, and supporting both employees and customers. The ideal candidate is an experienced, dependable professional who is comfortable taking ownership of an office, managing multiple priorities, and helping establish strong processes and organization in a growing and developing environment. Direct-Hire Opportunity | $18.00-$20.00/hour DOE Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Key Responsibilities Oversee daily office operations and administrative workflow Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, deposits, and account records Perform general bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records Process payroll and maintain payroll-related documentation Coordinate wire transfers and other routine financial transactions Manage purchasing, vendor communication, and related documentation Handle basic HR administrative responsibilities and employee paperwork Maintain organized and confidential personnel, financial, and business records Provide guidance, direction, and support to office staff Serve as a professional point of contact for customers, vendors, and employees Provide excellent customer service by phone, email, and in person Assist management with improving office procedures, organization, and administrative processes Monitor deadlines and ensure important administrative and financial tasks are completed accurately and on time Identify and help resolve day-to-day office and operational issues Perform additional administrative, financial, and operational duties as needed Qualifications Previous office management or similar administrative experience required Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience required Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable Payroll experience strongly preferred Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Comfortable working with financial information and maintaining strict confidentiality Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to take initiative Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with ownership, employees, customers, and vendors Computer proficiency and experience with standard office and accounting/bookkeeping software What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who can truly take ownership of the office.
