As a Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our legal team and ensure that our office runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documents
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information
  • Prepare legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
  • Transcribe dictation and prepare meeting minutes
  • Manage document management systems and databases
  • Answer phone calls and emails with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with proofreading legal documents for accuracy and completeness
  • File documents with the court or other entities as required
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role
  • Familiarity with legal documents, contracts, and terminology
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong clerical skills including typing, filing, scanning, copying, etc.
  • Proficiency in using document management systems
  • Ability to transcribe dictation accurately
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
