Job Description

Home Care Administrator Job Type:
Full-Time We are seeking an experienced, professional, and highly organized Home Care Administrator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in a home care agency and be familiar with the daily operations, documentation, compliance, and coordination required in a home care setting.
Responsibilities:
Manage and support daily home care agency operations Coordinate patient intake, scheduling, and caregiver assignments Maintain accurate patient and employee records Assist with caregiver recruitment, onboarding, and personnel documentation Ensure compliance with Virginia Department of Health (VDH) requirements and company policies Communicate professionally with patients, families, caregivers, and referral partners Assist with billing, Medicaid/insurance documentation, and administrative follow-up Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation Assist with patient referrals and business development Support the continued growth and organization of the agency Required Qualifications Previous experience working as a Home Care Administrator is
REQUIRED
Experience working in a licensed home care agency Knowledge of home care operations, regulations, and compliance requirements Experience with patient intake, caregiver scheduling, and employee documentation Fluent English is required , with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus Strong computer and administrative skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Health Sciences, or a related field preferred Relevant home care administrative experience may be considered in combination with education.
