This is a senior-level role for someone who is highly organized, experienced in QuickBooks Desktop, job costing, and office management , and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced residential construction environment. Experience with BuilderTrend is a major plus. Responsibilities Serve as the lead bookkeeper for the company Manage QuickBooks Desktop with strong job costing knowledge Complete monthly closeouts with P/L and Balance sheets Payroll, garnishments , etc Help manage Buildertrend workflows, client communication, and project documentation Track PTO, vacation, employee records, and HR documentation Handle employee onboarding and offboarding Manage HR paperwork and compliance items Oversee and support the assistant bookkeeper Collect payments and communicate with clients about billing Assist clients with financing options Assist with insurance claims, certificates of insurance, vendor documents, and company paperwork Work closely with the owner to keep finance, HR, and office operations organized and accurate
