Fire Protection Contractor Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our Bessemer office. This position plays a key role in customer service, billing, and administrative coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and experienced with ComputerEase , Microsoft Excel , Outlook , and general office systems.
MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and route incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner Process customer billing accurately and in a timely fashion using ComputerEase Construction Industry Billing Experience Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for job tracking, billing summaries, and internal reporting Manage email communication through Outlook and support office-wide scheduling Support project managers and field teams with administrative needs as required Maintain organized digital and paper files Assist with other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
2+ years of administrative or office experience (construction or service industry required) Proficiency in ComputerEase (required) Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00
PM Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience, with benefits available after probationary period.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
