Wingard Services, LLC is an independent, master-electrician-owned trade firm in Fairhope, AL (AL License #08408). We specialize in residential electrical repairs, custom upgrades, and specialized commercial projects across the Eastern Shore. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Home Office & Scheduling Assistant to manage customer communications, daily scheduling, basic administration, and local inventory support—working on-site in a residential home office alongside company leadership.
POSITION DETAILS
Hours:
~24 hours/week (Operating window: M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; flexible shifts structured around your college class schedule or other if not a student)

Fairhope, AL (On-site residential home-office setting)

Surface Pro laptop & Pixel smartphone (Google Voice)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
(In Order of Priority): 1. Primary Phone & Schedule Management (TOP
PRIORITY
) Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customer calls and texts using Google Voice on the provided Pixel phone.
Manage Google Calendar:
Book service calls and site visits based on job scope, location, technician availability, and driving routes. 2. Customer Follow-up & Back-Office Administration Maintain accurate customer profiles in Google Contacts via Chrome and handle routine client email correspondence. Assist with basic customer data entry, invoice tracking, and customer file updates in QuickBooks Online. Track open task lists to ensure pending callbacks, client quotes, and follow-ups are completed. Drop off physical check deposits at the local bank as needed. 3. Materials & Inventory Logistics (Support Role) Unbox incoming mail, packages, and electrical parts, matching items to active job orders. Keep high-use small materials organized in the home storage area and assist with restocking service truck inventory. Track back-stock materials and specialized equipment (ladders, tools). 4. Errands & Home Office Environment Perform occasional local runs to electrical supply houses, hardware stores, or post office (mileage reimbursed). Maintain a clean, professional presence in a residential home-office setting. Provide routine attention, affection, and quick yard breaks for a friendly, high-energy German Shorthaired Pointer on-site.
DOWNTIME POLICY
Answering calls, managing the schedule, administrative tasks, and inventory staging take absolute priority. Once daily operational needs are caught up, desk time may be used for coursework or personal study as a conditional privilege.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent phone etiquette: Clear, articulate, and friendly verbal communication skills for speaking directly with local homeowners and clients. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must reside locally (Eastern Shore) with a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for local errands. Comfortable working in a residential home-office setting with a friendly dog present.
Pay:
$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 30.0 per week
