Summary:
Responsible for scheduling and notifying parents of patients referral appointments. Responsible for sending up to date information to referring sources as required. Responsible for appointment scheduling and all patient date base management; receiving patients and families; collecting and receipting payments and co-pays; answering phone lines promptly, receiving and relaying messages accurately and timely; patient record management; scanning in paper patient charts; scanning in current correspondence into the electronic record; and maintaining an efficient and presentable front desk and reception area Other information: Medical terminology course preferred. Demonstrates the ability to function within a team by accepting the responsibility for all functions performed in order to assure that the team consistently meets its goals as identified by management. 3 Years of experience as in a healthcare administrative role, preferably in a practice or clinic.
