This part-time, onsite speech-language pathologist opportunity is perfect for professionals who value collaborative school environments and flexible scheduling. Youll have the chance to provide tailored interventions and work closely with educators as you help students overcome communication challenges.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active
ABESPA AL SLP
Certification or
AL SLP DOE
Certification required (can start with one pending the other) SLP-CCC credential and experience working in school-based settings Prior work with elementary or intermediate grade levels preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to students in 3rd through 6th grades Conduct assessments, write reports, and develop IEP service plans Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success Maintain all necessary student documentation and progress notes Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support teams Support compliance with state and district requirements
Schedule & Assignment Details:
Contract position, approximately 15 hours per week (2 days) Onsite at an intermediate school working with one assigned caseload Immediate start through late May 2027 If you are ready to use your expertise to help students find their voice, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
