Strong project administration and documentation management experience. Experience supporting construction, commissioning, power generation, or industrial projects preferred. Excellent meeting minutes, daily reporting, action-item tracking, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment with multiple contractors and technical teams.
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Project Administrator - Commissioning to support a power generation commissioning and project recovery effort. This position will serve as the primary administrative and documentation resource for the commissioning team, ensuring project activities, decisions, issues, action items, testing, and progress are thoroughly documented and tracked through completion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Prepare detailed daily commissioning reports documenting activities, progress, issues, and significant events. Attend project and commissioning meetings; capture minutes, decisions, action items, responsible parties, and due dates. Maintain action-item logs, punch lists, issue trackers, and other commissioning records. Organize and maintain procedures, drawings, test records, turnover packages, vendor documentation, and project files. Track outstanding documentation and follow up with team members, contractors, OEMs, and vendors as needed. Support timesheets, expense reporting, purchasing, invoices, and other project administrative requirements. Assist commissioning leadership with reports, schedule updates, presentations, and turnover/closeout documentation.
Job Requirements :
Strong administrative, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to accurately capture and document detailed technical discussions and field activities. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and electronic document management systems. Strong written communication and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow action items through closure. Comfortable working onsite with commissioning, construction, operations, and technical personnel. Education /
Experience :
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred. 5+ years of project administration, project coordination, document control, or similar experience preferred. Previous power generation, EPC, construction, commissioning, or industrial project experience strongly preferred.
