The administrative assistant will work collaboratively with both the RNPD and Instructors to ensure effective and efficient program operations. Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for coordinating the operational tasks of the office Maintain and monitor progress of students Answer phones, type correspondence, reports and other documents as necessary Disseminate information through email and internal postings Assist the Administrator or RNPD with the development and maintenance of all course forms. Audit documentation completeness and organization Maintain schedule flow of new program groups. Act as a liaison between students, instructors, Administrator and the program RNPD. Greet visitors and potential program students professionally, offering course information as necessary Maintain customer confidence and protect program operations by keeping information confidential Attend faculty meetings and maintain minutes of meetings Maintain office supply inventory and student program inventory (i.e. workbooks, uniforms, blood pressure cuffs, etc.) Maintain record keeping as defined by policy Complete special projects and duties as assigned by the Administrator or RNPD Scheduling meetings or events for Administrator or RNPD Qualifications and Skills The administrative assistant must have at least one to two years of administrative experience. This person must have excellent oral and written communication skills, be incredibly organized and detailed oriented, can prioritize multiple assignments, be self-directed and take initiative. This person must thrive in a fast-paced environment and can interact effectively with all levels of the organization. This person must have excellent computer skills and knowledge of healthcare industry is preferred. Must be available to work some weekends.
