Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant for a part-time, temporary administrative support assignment in Campbell, CA. This Office Assistant role is a great opportunity for an experienced clerical professional who enjoys supporting public sector operations, working with the public, maintaining accurate records, and keeping office processes organized and efficient. This assignment offers a stable, professional office environment with consistent weekday hours, clear expectations, and the opportunity to contribute to important community-facing services. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, dependable follow-through, and a positive, service-focused approach to daily office support. Key Responsibilities Prepare, input, and maintain letters, reports, forms, records, data, and routine correspondence. Answer inquiries, provide information, receive visitors or calls, and route requests to the appropriate person or department. Maintain files, process mail, manage mailing and distribution lists, and support basic records retention procedures. Process payments, issue receipts, prepare purchase orders, review invoices, and assist with routine payment processing. Support permits, application forms, class or event registrations, meeting scheduling, supply orders, and general office coordination.
Compensation and Benefits Pay rate:
$36.58 per hour.
Schedule:
Part-time, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Assignment length:
Temporary, approximately 3 months.
