Job Description
Part-Time Administrative Assistant — Entertainment/Media Company West Hollywood, CA | In-Person | Minimum 3 Days Per Week $23-$25/hour An established independent entertainment and media company specializing in archival television content is seeking a reliable, organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our small West Hollywood office. This is a fully in-person position working a minimum of three days per week, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM . Some flexibility in weekly availability is preferred, as additional days may occasionally be needed. Because this role provides essential in-office coverage, reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance are extremely important . We are looking for someone who is dependable, comfortable working independently in a small-office environment, and able to remain available in the office throughout their scheduled workday. Responsibilities Answering and directing incoming phone calls in a professional manner Greeting visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel Receiving and organizing mail and deliveries Providing general administrative and office support Maintaining spreadsheets and basic records Light bookkeeping, including basic reconciliations and account tracking Data entry and document preparation Assisting with occasional research and special projects Helping maintain day-to-day office organization and coverage Qualifications Previous administrative, office, production-office, or related experience preferred Comfortable with basic bookkeeping and working with numbers Proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets and Docs Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word is helpful Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional and courteous communication skills Good written and verbal communication skills Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently Professional judgment and a responsible approach to office matters Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute consistently to our West Hollywood office An interest in entertainment, television, music history, archival media, or 1950s and 1960s popular culture is a plus. Experience in film, television, media, production, or entertainment administration is welcome but not required.
