About Us At Mid Valley Glass, we provide high-quality window and door supply and installation services for residential and commercial clients. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, reliability, and excellent customer service. We are looking for a organized, eager-to-learn Office Assistant to join our team and help keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly. Position Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic Office Assistant to manage our scheduling, handle customer communications, and assist with general administration. No prior window and door experience is required—we will teach you all the product basics, terminology, and operational workflows! If you are organized, comfortable on the phone, and quick to learn, we'd love to speak with you.
Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Dispatch:
Coordinate installation, estimate, and service appointments for our field crews and sales reps.
Customer Service:
Answer incoming phone calls, respond to email inquiries, and keep clients updated on order statuses and schedule changes.
Product & Process Learning:
Learn the fundamentals of window and door types, measurement basics, and installation timelines to better assist customers.
Administrative Support:
Help maintain client records, assist with basic invoicing/billing inputs, and file project paperwork.
Supply Coordination:
Track incoming product orders from suppliers and notify the team when materials are ready for installation. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Clear, professional communication skills (phone, email, and in person). Comfort using basic computer programs (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; scheduling software experience is a plus). A proactive mindset and eager attitude toward learning a specialized trade.
