Your expertise in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, and medical office management will be instrumental in delivering top-tier healthcare experiences. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and facilitate patient intake processes with professionalism and enthusiasm Assist providers with clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and supporting procedures including phlebotomy and medication administration Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient encounters, medical histories, and treatment plans Perform basic clinical duties like ICD coding, recording medical documentation, and maintaining organized medical records Support front desk operations by scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and managing phone calls efficiently Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and assist with procedures in dermatology, emergency medicine, or hospital settings including Level I Trauma Center experiences Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations by adhering to HIPAA guidelines and maintaining confidentiality of patient information Experience Proven experience in a medical office setting with familiarity in medical administrative support and clinical assisting Hands-on knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management tools Experience working within dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine environments is highly desirable Inpatient experience or Level II trauma center exposure is a plus Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, pharmacology, ICD coding, and anatomy knowledge Previous roles involving phlebotomy, medication administration, or medical-surgical procedures will be advantageous Join us to be part of a vibrant healthcare environment where your skills directly impact patient well-being!
