The Role The Lead & Office Coordinator plays an important role in shaping the day-to-day experience of both clients and team members at Bakker Construction. This position serves as the first point of contact for many prospective clients while also supporting the internal coordination that helps our projects and operations run smoothly. From managing new leads and client inquiries to supporting administrative, marketing, and team activities, this role helps ensure that communication flows clearly and that important details do not fall through the cracks.   • Serve as the initial point of contact for all phone calls including new leads, assessing fit, gathering information, and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Accurately log and track all leads in the CRM; maintain data integrity and report on lead trends and conversion metrics.
  • Distribute qualified leads to appropriate sales person and schedule discovery calls & site visits.
  • Re-engage past or inactive leads on a defined schedule and identify new opportunities through online research or intent signals.
  • Maintain and organize lead intake information and reports for the sales and marketing team. Office Administration & Reception
  • Serve as
Director of First Impressions:
greet visitors, answer phones, and manage general correspondence.
  • Maintain the office calendar, phone log, and reminders for meetings and employee reviews.
  • Manage physical and digital filing systems for project files, HR documents, and vendor records.
  • Retrieve and distribute mail; coordinate errands (bank, post office, office supplies).
  • Oversee office and supply inventory (including branded apparel) and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Administrative & Departmental Support
  • Provide administrative assistance to Owners, Production, Design, and Marketing departments.
  • Prepare meeting rooms, agendas, take notes, and distribute summaries.
  • Create and maintain job binders, assist with
  • Support HR and employee engagement activities, including birthdays, anniversaries, appreciation gifts, and company events. Marketing & Sales Support
  • Support marketing campaigns and initiatives by maintaining mailing lists, coordinating client gifts (mid-project and closeout) and requesting testimonials. (mid/post-project client surveys)
  • Assist with social media engagement and content collection (photos, videos, on-site posts).
  • Help plan and attend company events, community sponsorships, and promotional opportunities.
  • Track and report on lead generation metrics in collaboration with the marketing team.

  • Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • This position is anticipated to be a 40-hour per week commitment, in-person at our office in Monterey, CA.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and operating office equipment (computer, phone, printer, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and via electronic means
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of office supplies, files, or packages (up to 20-40 pounds)
  • Ability to move throughout the office to assist team members, greet visitors, and manage daily operations
  • Occasional bending and reaching
  • Visual ability to read screens, documents, and reports
  • Ability to drive locally for errands such as bank deposits, post office visits, or supply runs (if applicable) Compensation & Benefits
