Position:
Meal Prep & Personal Assistant Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 10:00
AM Location:
Private home in Indian Wells / Palm Desert area
Start Date:
1-2 Weeks Role Overview Seeking a reliable, patient, and organized personal assistant to support a special needs teenager with morning routines, school preparation, transportation, and meal‑related tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping families, is comfortable with teens, and can manage light household responsibilities independently. Primary Responsibilities Arrive promptly each morning and assist teen with getting ready for school (prompting, support with routine, ensuring backpack/lunch is prepared). Prepare daily lunches and simple breakfast items. Drive teen to school safely and on time. Grocery shopping (local stores such as Ralphs, Trader Joe's, etc.) Meal prep (chopping, portioning, simple cooking, organizing weekly meals for teen). Light kitchen organization related to meal prep. Maintain a calm, supportive, and structured environment. Communicate clearly with parent regarding completed tasks, supplies needed, or concerns. Requirements Valid California driver's license and clean driving record. Reliable vehicle (or ability to drive family vehicle if preferred). Experience working with special needs children or teens strongly preferred. Comfortable with cooking and meal prep. Ability to follow routines, work independently, and stay organized. Must pass background check.
Pay:
$30.00 per hour
