The Administrative Assistant plays a central role in daily school operations — managing the front desk, tracking attendance, supporting clerical work, and helping communicate with our school community.
Key Responsibilities Front Desk Management:
Greet and check visitors, staff, and students in and out; verify identities and follow all school safety protocols.
Attendance & Student Tracking:
Log late arrivals and early dismissals, and maintain accurate student attendance records.
Clerical & Administrative Support:
Answer school phone calls and emails, and maintain accurate and confidential student files.
Community Relations & Communications:
Coordinate school communications, including emails, newsletters, and important dates, plus light social media scheduling. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Prior experience in an administrative, clerical, front-desk, or customer service role. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a warm, professional, and welcoming demeanor. Comfortable using standard office software (email, calendars, word processing) and general office equipment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment with sensitive student and family information. Must clear a background check and provide TB clearance prior to starting. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a school or educational setting. Associate's degree or coursework in office administration, education, or a related field. Familiarity with school software solutions (SIS- Procare, Google Workspace) and basic social media scheduling tools. Why Join Us Be part of building something new.
