This is not an entry-level administrative position. We are looking for an experienced healthcare office professional who enjoys hands-on work and wants broader responsibility for projects, program growth, and follow-through. This role combines administrative assistant support with hands-on program management. The right person will help manage Dr. Workman's schedule, track important projects, support marketing implementation, coordinate website and social media follow-through, and help keep the biologics, Discseel, regenerative medicine, and related service lines moving forward. Candidates should have several years of medical or healthcare office experience and proven responsibility as a Front Office Manager, Office Manager, Practice Manager, Lead Front Desk, Healthcare Operations Coordinator, or comparable healthcare leadership role. Starting pay is $25 to $30 per hour based on experience and demonstrated ability, with performance-driven bonus opportunities. Full-time benefits include health insurance and 401(k) with match.
ABOUT US
Redding Pain Medicine is a specialty pain medicine practice in Redding, California. Our work is focused on helping patients reduce pain, improve function, and restore quality of life through careful diagnosis, thoughtful treatment plans, and innovative treatment options. Dr. Workman is a board-certified pain medicine physician with decades of experience and a special interest in spinal cord stimulation, regenerative medicine, biologics, Discseel, and advanced treatment options for chronic pain. We are a small team with unique services, a supportive work environment, and a family-friendly culture. We are looking for a dependable healthcare administrative doer who can help important work move from idea to done.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
This is not a passive clerical role. This position is for someone who can provide strong administrative support while also helping manage the practice's biologics program and related service lines. A strong person in this role will help Dr. Workman stay organized, keep projects visible, support patient and marketing follow-up, help track leads and next actions, and help make sure important opportunities do not fall through the cracks. The title matters less than the result: organized communication, completed projects, visible follow-up, and a biologics program that is managed with care, accuracy, and steady attention.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Assist Dr. Workman with schedule management, priorities, reminders, and follow-up. Help manage the biologics program and related service-line projects. Track Discseel, biologics, regenerative medicine, and other patient-service opportunities from inquiry to next action. Maintain visible lists, spreadsheets, project trackers, and follow-up systems. Support marketing implementation, website updates, patient communication projects, and social media follow-through. Help keep leads, calls, patient questions, estimates, scheduling steps, and next actions from being lost between handoffs. Coordinate with staff, vendors, website resources, marketing resources, and outside contacts as directed. Help prepare meeting agendas, document decisions, preserve action items, and follow up until tasks are completed. Turn verbal or recorded instructions into clear written task lists or project plans. Support selected administrative, marketing, biologics, and general operations projects as assigned. Notice unfinished work, communicate clearly, and help keep the practice moving forward.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Healthcare office experience is required. This position is designed for an experienced healthcare administrative professional. Candidates should have several years of medical or healthcare office experience and proven responsibility as a Front Office Manager, Office Manager, Practice Manager, Lead Front Desk, Healthcare Operations Coordinator, or comparable healthcare leadership role. We are looking for someone who has already proven they can function in a real healthcare office, work with a team, handle multiple moving parts, and follow through without needing constant reminders.

EXPERIENCE THAT CAN FIT
Examples of relevant healthcare leadership backgrounds include: Medical Office Manager Front Office Manager Practice Manager Lead Front Desk / Front Office Lead Healthcare Operations Coordinator or Manager Healthcare Administrative Manager Similar medical-office leadership experience Biologics experience is not required. Several years of healthcare office experience, proven responsibility, and strong administrative follow-through are required.
COMPUTER AND TECH SKILLS
Mac OS comfort is preferred. Spreadsheet ability is important. Website update or website coordination experience is helpful. Social media experience is helpful. Comfort learning new systems and keeping digital work organized is important.
SCHEDULE
Full-time position, open now. The role is approximately half administrative assistant support and half biologics, projects, and marketing. This is primarily an in-person role at our Redding office.
PAY AND BENEFITS
Starting pay: $25 to $30 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability. Performance-driven bonus opportunities are available. Full-time benefits include health insurance and 401(k) with match. Training is provided in person. Support for education and skill expansion may be available. Promotion opportunities may be available after 12 months when performance goals are met or exceeded.
