Job Description
O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable, locally owned pest management company to find their next Receptionist / Office Assistant . This position is based in Redding, CA . Since 2015, this family-operated company has proudly served the North State by providing exceptional pest management services with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Receptionist / Office Assistant to become the welcoming face and voice of their business. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with customers in a fast-paced office environment. This position is part-time with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.

Assistant Compensation & Benefits Part-time schedule with opportunity for full-time employment $18.00 to $19.00 per hour - after successfully completing the 90-day probationary period, compensation can be reviewed. Monday through Friday | 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Health insurance available Prestige Medical Care membership Paid holidays Paid vacation Paid sick leave On-the-job training Team-building events No weekends Receptionist / Office Assistant - Qualifications Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, office assistant, or customer service experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, Adobe Acrobat, and other basic computer applications Ability to quickly learn company software and pest control management systems Dependable with excellent attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic Positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Receptionist / Office Assistant - Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and greet customers in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with account questions and general inquiries Process customer payments and assist with basic billing questions Maintain accurate customer records within the company's pest management software Document customer communications, account updates, and service notes accurately Assist with appointment confirmations, scheduling support, and calendar coordination as directed Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and front office area Assist office staff with administrative tasks, projects, and daily office operations as assigned Maintain confidentiality of customer information and company records Consistently demonstrate professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude while representing the company Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this position.
