In person Are You an Experienced ARF Leader Ready for Your Next Step? We are looking for a hands-on, dependable Assistant Administrator to support the daily operations of an Adult Residential Facility serving adults with developmental and behavioral needs. The Co Administrator works alongside the home Administrator assigned various duties. This is a working leadership position — not a desk-only role. You will work alongside residents and Direct Support Professionals while supporting staffing, documentation, compliance, training, and the day-to-day operation of the home.
Applicants must currently possess:
Current ARF Administrator Certificate RSO Training Certificate from the Regional Center
DSP I & DSP II CPR
/ First Aid CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) What You'll Do Support daily operations in accordance with applicable Title 17 and Title 22 requirements Assist with supervising, training, coaching, and holding DSP staff accountable Help manage staff schedules and maintain appropriate coverage Support the Administrator with daily operations and staffing needs Review and audit documentation, including progress notes, MARs, SIRs, and staff/client files Support residents with ADLs, behavioral support plans, and independence goals Monitor and manage Personal & Incidental (P&I) funds Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and compliant home Assist with medical appointments and follow-up care Respond to incidents and ensure appropriate reporting and follow-up Work directly with residents and staff when needed Work various shifts depending on home needs Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: An experienced ARF professional with strong leadership skills Comfortable working with individuals who have moderate to severe behavioral needs Able to supervise and coach staff while maintaining a positive, professional environment Organized and detail-oriented with strong documentation skills Comfortable managing schedules, staffing issues, and unexpected situations Calm and solution-oriented under pressure Reliable, accountable, and willing to step in when the team needs support Hands-on and comfortable working directly with residents and DSP staff Ability to work various shifts based on home needs Experience Required 2-3 years of experience in an ARF or similar residential setting At least 1 year of supervisory or lead staff experience Experience with behavioral support and developmental disabilities strongly preferred What We Offer $24.00
