Company Description WCD & Associates is a structural engineering firm based in Rocklin, California, serving commercial, public works, education, and residential clients throughout the western United States. Role Description The Administrative Assistant provides day-to-day support to our engineering and management teams by handling front desk responsibilities, maintaining the office environment, and assisting with general administrative tasks. This position begins as a part-time role with the opportunity to expand into additional responsibilities as the company continues to grow. Qualifications Answer and direct incoming phone calls Monitor and respond to general office emails Welcome clients and visitors Receive new project inquiries and route information to management Maintain office organization and presentation Keep the break room, kitchen, and office supplies stocked and organized Scan, file, print, and organize documents Assist with project setup and general administrative support Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries Assist with scheduling, office events, and miscellaneous office tasks Support engineers and management with special projects as assigned Qualifications Friendly, professional, and dependable Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Able to prioritize tasks and work independently Previous office or customer service experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate.
