THE ORGANIZATION
Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a non-profit agency under contract to the State of California and for 50 years has provided the coordination of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. ACRC employs approximately 900+ persons working out of eight offices in a ten-county area. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California.
COMPENSATION
The below is dependent upon experience and education. $21.97 - $24.38 The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
THE POSITION AND JOB SUMMARY ACRC
is seeking an Office Assistant in our Sacramento to provide proactive administrative, informational, and secretarial support to assigned Client Services staff and Clients/their circle of support. The position will maintain up-to-date and accurate Client information in Agency database, SANDIS; prepare and review correspondence and communications, Client reports, and other materials for assigned Units; coordinate schedules/calendars; administer specific tracking programs to ensure timeliness of contracts, MOU's, and other documents; and provide Reception support as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Mental aptitude to accurately process information and details; Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to correspond in a variety of mediums; Extensive sitting at workstation, in meetings, and in vehicle (50%+ of time); Frequent standing and walking; Adequate manual dexterity and coordination to operate standard office equipment, such as computer, keyboard and mouse, copier, scanner, telephone, etc.; Hearing and vision corrected to normal range for operation of standard office equipment, transcription of documents and administration of electronic records; Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and stretching; Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs. while moving paperwork, supplies, and other office materials; Ability to independently visit off site locations (occasional)

Requirements:
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must possess: two years of administrative support experience, to include public contact/customer support; have a High School Diploma or GED; a minimum accurate typing speed of 40 WPM; the ability to apply a variety of legal requirements and policy standards; and the ability to perform advanced administrative tasks using independent judgement, accuracy, and speed.
