Education:
  • High School Diploma or the equivalent;
  • Two years of responsible office/clerical experience, or
  • Combination of education and experience;
  • Skill in operating a personal computer, fax machine and other office equipment are necessary.
  • Bilingual in Spanish highly desirable.
  • Experience and/or completed coursework in first aid and/or in the healthcare field is preferred.
  • Licenses in the field of medical assistance (CNA, LVN, other) desirable.
  • A completed EDJOIN application is required; resumes do not replace the application. Upload all required documents exactly as stated (e.g., Letter of Recommendation) to be considered for this position.
  • Applicants should upload transcripts with their application if education is required by the position or claimed on the application.

When it comes to attendance, you'll be in charge of tracking and maintaining student attendance records. You'll also make sure all attendance processes meet district, state, and federal requirements, including notifying parents when necessary. Additionally, you will work closely with the school nurse and Health Services team in the implementation of school-wide policies, procedures, communication and reporting of all health related services.
