This role is essential in providing excellent patient service and administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings, including dermatology, urgent care, and hospital medicine, and will be proficient in handling patient intake, managing electronic health records (EHR), and assisting with vital signs and basic life support. Responsibilities Greet patients upon arrival and assist with the check-in process Conduct patient intake, including gathering medical history and current medications Record vital signs and ensure accurate documentation in EHR systems Provide administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and handling correspondence Assist healthcare providers with patient care tasks as needed Maintain a clean and organized front office environment Ensure compliance with medical protocols, including ICD coding and medication administration Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow within the facility Skills Basic knowledge of medical terminology Proficient in EHR systems for effective patient record management Familiarity with ICD coding practices for accurate billing processes Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care Join our team to make a difference in the lives of our patients while advancing your career in the medical field.
