Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Position Summary The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and customer support to a department by coordinating daily office activities, maintaining records, processing information, and supporting internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to department staff and leadership.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and assist customers professionally.
- Enter and maintain accurate data, records, and documentation.
- Process purchase orders, expense reports, and departmental paperwork.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare materials, and support special projects.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with record retention procedures.
- Order office supplies and monitor inventory levels.
- Support day-to-day office operations and assist with additional administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous administrative, office support, customer service, or clerical experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong data entry and organizational skills.
- Ability to type at least 45 WPM.
- Experience using internet-based tools and business systems. Skills & Competencies
