Office Manager Job Summary:
Our growing dental practice is seeking a professional, energetic, and organized Dental Receptionist to join our front office team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment, managing patient flow, and ensuring daily administrative operations run seamlessly. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a deep commitment to exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Services:
Welcome and check in patients warmly, manage registration forms, verify health history updates, and orchestrate efficient check-out.
Scheduling Management:
Coordinate patient appointments, optimize the daily schedule to minimize gaps, manage the recall system, and proactively follow up on missed bookings. Insurance verification, dental insurance benefits, and collect co-pays or outstanding balances at the time of service.
Administrative Operations:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital patient records, safeguard patient privacy in strict compliance with HIPAA guidelines, and answer multi-line phone calls with professionalism.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate closely with and dental assistants to guarantee fluid patient transitions and a well-paced day.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of dental front office experience is preferred.
Languages :
Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish) is a requirement to serve diverse populations
Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with modern dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend ) and general computer data entry.
Interpersonal Skills:
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 36.0 per week
