This position will perform a variety of complex accounting and administrative work to support the operations of the Facilities, Fleet and Emergency Support Services Department. Generally, the hiring range is $45,979

•57,474 annually. Qualifications, education and experience as it relates to the position will be taken into consideration when determining hiring salary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

: (The following examples are illustrative only and are not intended to be all inclusive.) Input and code purchasing card receipts into the County Financial system for the department. Review and process all department invoices through the County financial software system with accuracy and timeliness. Handle payment inquiries, verify that charges have been correctly applied to open purchase orders, and assist with entering expenses into all operating and project spreadsheets. Provide backup support to the Lead Administrative Support Specialist, assisting with coding invoices and receipts as needed. Enter utility data to track usage and cost trends. Compare service contract terms to invoices to verify accurate charges and services (e.g., shredding, trash removal, pest control, janitorial services). Provide professional customer service as the first point of contact, greeting staff and visitors, and answering incoming calls. Orders and maintains office supplies to support daily operations and oversee the upkeep of office equipment such as copiers and printers. Manage the department's work-clothing orders. Serve as an administrator for the work order management software, including additions, changes, and ensuring data accuracy. Resolves issues within established guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

: High school diploma or GED required. Associate Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred. Minimum two years performing varied office and administrative tasks, including accounting practices or related experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered for a well-qualified candidate.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS

: This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check including fingerprinting through a national database. Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License upon hire, with complying insurance. Review of motor vehicle record is required at time of hire and periodically throughout employment.
